ORHAN AYDIN

Born in Ankara, Orhan AYDIN is originally from the Akıncılar district of Sivas. AYDIN received his secondary education at Eyüp İmam Hatip Lisesi and completed his undergraduate education at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. AYDIN, who received an MBA program in Canada, also completed his Master’s degree in Economics at Istanbul University and received the title of HIGH ECONOMIST. Orhan AYDIN continues his academic studies with his doctorate in the Department of Economics at Istanbul University. Orhan AYDIN, who is active in commercial life besides his academic career, is the founder and manager of OMA IPLIK A.Ş. with its yarn production facilities, OMAFIL, which directs the sector, has added its brand to the values of the country.

Orhan AYDIN, who served as the Vice Chairman of the New Investments Commission at ASKON as a board member in 2014-2017 and as the General Secretary of the Institution in 2016-2017, was elected as the Vice President Responsible for Corporate Relations after the ASKON General Assembly in 2017.

Orhan AYDIN continues to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association and the Supervisory Board of the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

Orhan AYDIN, who was elected as the Chairman of ASKON after the ASKON 11th Ordinary General Assembly, has also been elected as the chairman at the 12th General Assembly and continues his duties successfully.

Orhan AYDIN who can speak English, Italian and Arabic well, is married and has 3 children.
